Maryland Institute for Dialogue believes in the importance of academic research and critical thinking in fostering intercultural and interfaith dialogue. The Institute organizes discussion sessions, seminars, lectures, and book-signing events with academic institutions. These intellectual events convene prominent scholars and experts of different cultural and academic background and provide the participants with different approaches to the contemporary and enduring issues of the time. In this regard, the MID collaborates with universities and other academic institutions. The MID also seeks to support publication of books and original research emphasizing the importance of intercultural dialogue.
