Project:
Turkey (Intercultural Trips to
the Meeting Place of the West and the
East)
Definition:
The project aims to provide the trip participants
with original intercultural experience
where the two worlds of the West and the
East meet each other. Secular and democratic
Turkey is home to a mosaic of different
cultures, religions and ethnicities, and
as such provides a living example of peaceful
coexistence of different
communities. The trip includes visits
to the sites that have significance in
Jewish, Christian and Muslim traditions
as well as interactions with the local
people.
